最早聽見這首歌是在Gery's Aanatomy，(這真的是一部好影集，我曾在裡頭找到不少口袋歌單)，偶然一次開車時再次藉由廣播聽到這首歌，趕忙把歌者及歌名記下，愛上這種略為沙啞的歌聲，想不到來自一位如此年輕的澳洲女孩。
很快就成為我的新來電答玲了，每次聽了心情都很好，可以哼唱一整天，

如卡通般散發五彩繽紛的可愛圖像，像童話般譜出如夢似幻的純真聲韻，一位古靈精怪的小女孩，充滿天馬行空的畫面轉由音符輸出，生動活潑的豐富曲風加上毫不吹噓的創作功力，迅速擄獲你我的雙耳，歡迎光臨蘭卡的音樂異想世界。

來自澳洲的蘭卡，六歲時受到小號手父親啟蒙而培養出對音樂的高度興趣，移居雪梨後開始接受歌唱、舞蹈等表演課程，青少年時代就進入享譽全球的「澳洲青年劇團」學習戲劇，成為好萊塢巨星妮可基嫚的學妹，師出奧斯卡影后凱特布蘭琪；2004年蘭卡加入電音搖滾樂團「Decoder Ring」，替短片『猶太男孩Jewboy』編寫配樂而風靡許多電影節會場，因此躍登澳洲大小音樂祭典舞台。為了尋求更多靈感和發光的機會，蘭卡飛到美國洛杉磯製作自己的創作曲，2007年獲得Epic Records賞識，簽入旗下籌備個人專輯。

2008年9月發行首張同名大碟【Lenka 蘭卡的異想世界】，她甜而不膩的嗓音立即在全美造成轟動，登上告示牌「熱門潛力榜」第三名；許多電視影集仰慕她清爽無負擔的音樂風格，紛紛慕名邀約演唱主題曲，包括「醜女貝蒂」、「實習醫生」、「亂愛高校生」等，其中最為人津津樂道的就是「醜女貝蒂」第三季預告主題曲《The Show 蘭卡的異想世界》，蘭卡因此被稱「醜女貝蒂最甜美的代言人」；同時電影『嬌驕女上司』及知名服裝品牌廣告也都不約而同選用這首歌曲，造成電視、電影、廣告全面壟斷現象，今年夏天蘭卡宣告進軍國際，用音樂撫慰現實世界的疲憊心靈，邀請你進入她的異想世界，找回屬於青春世代的熱情與活力。
